Introducing a new entrance

On Monday 16 January, another milestone at Victoria Underground station was celebrated with the opening of the new North Ticket Hall (on the corner of Bressenden Place and Victoria Street). This new entrance opens directly onto Cardinal Place, giving improved pedestrian access to the busy shopping and business district.

TFL has installed six brand new escalators, giving customers quick and direct access to the Victoria line. In addition to the extra space in the ticket hall, which is helping to ease congestion and improve journey times, they have also installed new lighting throughout as well as additional help points.

TFL is working as hard as possible to deliver step-free access to the North Ticket Hall early this year and finish the remaining station work in 2018.
